On the lighter side ....
1. What the heck happened to Pac West Distributing (PWD)?
Please see this page I have up about the demise of PWD.
2. How are your orders shipped?
All orders are shipped in plain packaging and no reference to this website is ever made. All incense is heat shrink wrapped, placed in bubble wrap and shiiped in a 300lb crush limit box. We have shipped tens of thousands of successful orders and breakage has NEVER been an issue!
3. How will this show on my credit card?
Your credit card statement will be billed as discretely and an email will be sent to you at the time of your order with additional order information and details..
4. How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Orders are packed the same day they are received and are shipped the same day if received before 4pm EST. Typical order arrival time is 3-5 days. Please exclude weekends & holidays from this estimate. Once again, we have shipped tens of thousands of orders and delivery time has never been an issue.
5. Can I get my order delivered quicker?
Sorry, due to airline regulations we cannot ship by air freight.
6. Is your inventory fresh?
Yes. You will see some items that are actually out of stock because we do not maintain bulk inventory. We order direct from the manufacturer in small quantities to insure freshness.
7. How much is shipping?
UPS Ground Shipping is $8.95 - regardless of order size. Please keep in mind that these are liquids - they are not light and do require extra care in packaging. While I have had Customers comment on shipping costs prior to receiving their orders I have never had a Customer voice a complaint after they see how safe & secure the packaging is. Trust me, you do not want this ending up in your mail box broken :-)
As to the cost, Boxes are not free. Ink for printers is not free. Paper for invoices is not free. Bubble wrap is not free. Shrink wrap is not free. Labor to package the items are not free. Gas to go to the post office is not free.
8. Why is your inventory, well, 'limited'?
We only carry 10 or 12 liquid aromas on this site out of the 200+, yes, Two Hundred Plus, available on the market.
.There are probably about 20 'bottlers' out there marketing all of these various brands. These guys are somewhat like 'independent' soda pop bottlers that market the 'off-brand' soda pops.
I could order the off-brands and sell them to a Customer the very same day I get them. The problem is that they may have been sitting around on someones inventory shelves for months on end and I don't know how old they are. I have no way to control the quality. Much like the sodas that have been sitting on shelves for months, they become flat. No POP. Just soda.
After 10 years of selling aromas online I know exactly which aromas are of high quality and which are duds. I know which move. I know which are going to make my Customers happy-happy-happy and keep them coming back for more.
Anyways, I got a bit wordy on number 8 here but I thought it was important to understand that I do not fail to keep these 200 aromas in inventory out of cheapness but from the established fact that 'quantity' does not equal 'quality'.
